Mecca Bah lends a hand

While we woke up to find presents under the Christmas tree, Mecca Bah opened its doors to some of Melbourne’s most marginalised.

Mecca Bah held its sixth annual Salvation Army Christmas Day brunch and welcomed more than 100 of the Salvation Army’s most frequent users to the event.

The award-winning restaurant put on a hearty feast for its guests, putting plenty of smiles on their faces.

Lord Mayor Robert Doyle got involved once again, acting as chauffeur. He personally transported guest to Mecca Bah from the Salvation Army’s Bourke St headquarters and then transported them onto their lunch following the brunch at Mecca Bah.
