Get revved up at Sky Park

28 Feb 2019

Start your engines, there’s a free slot car track coming to Melbourne Quarter to celebrate the Melbourne Grand Prix.

From March 14 – 15, Melbourne Quarter’s Sky Park in Collins St will be transformed into a mini Grand Prix arena, delighting Docklands’ Formula 1 enthusiasts, residents, visitors and workers.

Free racing-inspired food giveaways from new cafe Sergy Boy and a live DJ will accompany daily lunchtime slot car knock-out competitions between 12 noon and 2pm.

Or, test your reaction time on our digital screens with similar technology used by professional Formula 1 drivers to improve their reaction speed and peripheral vision.

With prizes for those with the most talent on the track and the fastest reaction speeds, if you can’t make it trackside to Albert Park, make a pit stop to Melbourne Quarter instead. For more information, visit http://www.melbournequarter.com/discover/news-and-events
