Enhancing north-west Docklands

The City of Melbourne wants to know what you think of the north-west corner of the precinct.

At its last public forum in September 2009 participants told the council there was more that could be done in the north-west corner of Docklands – Waterfront City Piazza, Docklands Drive and the proposed park area west of NewQuay which could become a hub for recreation, entertainment and community living.  

But the council wants more detail and more ideas from the community.

The City of Melbourne and VicUrban have invited the community to come and participate in a discussion about enhancing north-west Docklands at a workshop on Monday, December 7.  Join other members of the Docklands community, along with representatives from the Docklands Co-ordination Committee and help us plan for the second decade of Docklands.

The Docklands Co-ordination Committee comprises members from the City of Melbourne and VicUrban.  The outcomes from this workshop will contribute to the preparation of a new long-term strategy for Docklands, called the Second Decade of Docklands Plan.
