Designers’ House is a little touch of luxury

Step into Harbour Town’s Designers’ House and you will take a step back in time to the Parisian couturier salons of yesteryear.

Located on the top level of the shopping complex, Designers’ House is the jewel in the crown of the Docklands retail precinct.

Featuring crystal chandeliers and a concierge desk, customers will be treated like celebrities with personal service from staff specifically employed to work in one designer’s area.

With a range of 20 Australian and international designers, customers are spoilt for choice when it comes to the latest fashion trends at Designers’ House.

Marketing co-ordinator, Izabela Taseski, describes the trend for women this season as “loose fitting, effortless glam”. She says that light cottons, chiffons and kaftans will be very popular and adds that a 1950s-look in swimwear will also be in style.

For the men, she believes that denim cuffed shorts, checked suit shirts and stitched lapel suits will be trendy.

On December 13, Designers’ House, in collaboration with Harbour Town, will be hosting a summer outdoor fashion parade on the ground level of the precinct. Labels participating in the show include: ML Denim Melbourne, Jets, Sissi.g, Rosemin, Modern Lovers and Gerard Darel.

Designers’ House will be operating with extended trading hours till 9pm on December 21 and 22, with special offers for the Docklands community.
