Based right here in Docklands, Melbourne Showboat can offer you the perfect cruise package to explore the harbour and port.

According to director and captain Jeff Gordon, an increasing number of people want to celebrate special occasions on the water.

“People love to enjoy the water in a safe, relaxed and enjoyable way,” Mr Gordon said.

“It’s a great way to see Melbourne from a different perspective.”

Melbourne Showboat offers a range of cruise packages, providing something outside the norm for birthdays, weddings and anniversary celebrations. Mr Gordon said his team was also more than willing to cater individual packages for clients.

Currently, Melbourne Showboat is offering daytime cruises around the Port of Melbourne, with lunch provided.

“You can get up close to big ships and see the busy, bustling port,” Mr Gordon said.

Another unique offer available at the moment is a burlesque cruise, which include live performers, a DJ, finger food and drinks.

According to Mr Gordon, a night out on the water onboard Melbourne Showboat’s Lady Cutler is always full of dancing.

“I always tell our guests to be prepared to spend plenty of time on the dance floor when they come aboard.”
