Home away from home

For Roley and Mojo, Docklands is their home away from home.

The five-year-old pug and eight-year-old beaglier are regular visitors to Yarra’s Edge, holidaying in the area while their owners travel.

Docklands News came across the cute pair while they were out walking with temporary minder Peter Hammond.

Peter and his wife live at Yarra’s Edge and said they “pet-sit” the dogs around three or four times a year.

And according to Peter, Roley and Mojo love staying in Docklands.

“They’ve got plenty of friends here, we have a nice dog living next door to us.”

Peter said their favourite place to visit was Point Park as there were always plenty of other dogs to meet.

While Peter doesn’t have any pets of his own he said it was great fun minding Roley and Mojo.
