Confused canine

Kaka the King Charles Cavalier is one very confused canine.

Owner Kira Shen, 21, said that Kaka thinks flies make a perfect snack. According to Kira, her eleven-month-old puppy loves to chase flies around her apartment. “He loves to chase them and bark at them and one time he even swallowed one,” Kira said.

And Kira can forget about buying expensive puppy toys. Kaka thinks that empty coke bottles are the best chewing toy. Give him an empty bottle to play with and he’ll be entertained for hours, Kira said.

Kira has lived in Docklands for a year and loves how dog-friendly the area is. Kaka has even made friends with some other dogs at nearby Docklands Park.  Living in Bourke St means that the park is only a minute away and Kira and Kaka are always out and about.

“I take Kaka for a walk to Docklands Park twice a day, it’s such a lovely place for him to run and play,” Kira said.
