Talk and play time

Yarra’s Edge pioneers Kirsten and Peter Howe love living in Docklands but they love their dogs even more.

The Tower 1 residents say their Japanese Spitz Kimba (eight years old) and Charlotte (four and a half) are great for apartment living.

Peter said: “We adore Charlotte and Kimba because of their very loving, affectionate and playful nature. They are great friends and keep each other entertained when we are both at work.”

“Their beautiful white coats are incredibly soft and remain surprisingly clean and well kept with minimal effort. The breed is known to clean themselves like cats and they are good for asthmatics. Perfect for apartment living.”

Kirsten said: “Charlotte is fiercely loyal and is the princess of the family, often refusing to get her paws wet or dirty. She loves a tummy rub and snuggling.”

“True to his Australasian championship breeding, Kimba struts proudly, is very sociable and easy to teach because he loves to please. He is named after Kimba the white lion as he is an avid explorer and loves to befriend animals and people.”

“Both love their long walks everyday along the beautiful Yarras Edge precinct, often stopping to ‘talk and play’ with their many friends.”
