By Sarang Dhawan , Numerologist Predictions

Match 1 on February 19

India V Bangladesh

Well it’s the opening match of the World Cup and the Indian players are in terrific form and hence are the favourites to win the World Cup 2011. However, according to the numbers, the match won’t be easy against Bangladesh and I feel a toughfight will be given to the Indian team. There is every chance that Bangladesh may get an edge. In short, the chances are Bangladesh 51 per cent and India 49 per cent.

Match 2 on February 20

New Zealand V Kenya

New Zealand has an edge in this match, although Kenya’s bowlers will bowl well. New Zealand adds to number eight and its outfit is also black.  The effect of number eight is so very volatile, it needs a change if New Zealand is to win the World Cup, as it has never won it before.

Match 3 on February 20

Sri Lanka v Canada

Sri Lanka will win this match as Sri Lanka adds up to the number nine. Twenty equals two plus zero and two is again lucky for them so they will have an edge over Canada.  Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakara will perform well in this match along will Mahela Jayawardene.

Match 4 on February 21

Australia V Zimbabwe

Australia might get an edge. I see a good performance from Zimbabwe and they might stun Australia with brilliant bowing and batting. It might turn out to be a close match and no one will expect that.  But the numbers indicate it will turn out to be an interesting game and Zimbabwe will perform well.

Match 5 on February 22

England v Netherlands

Netherlands have an edge over England as the date of the 22nd (two plus two equals four) and four being weak number for England and a good number for Netherlands. I feel they will win the match. Now let’s see how Morgan performs on the day.

Match 6 on February 23

Kenya V Pakistan

Pakistan has an edge over Kenya, yet Pakistan is so unpredictable because of what has happened in the past with reports of match fixing.  This match is also played on a date that is lucky for Kenya. If cricket is played in the proper spirit, then Pakistan will win.

Match 7 on February 24

West Indies V South Africa

West Indies have an edge over South Africa as the match is played on the 24th (two plus four equals six) and six is a very lucky number for the West Indies. I feel they might become favourites to hold the cup too if they win this match. Let’s see what playing-11 both teams pick.

Match 8 on February 25

Australia V New Zealand

A tough-fought match in which Australia gets the edge. Seven (two plus five equals seven) is lucky for Australia and similarly okay for New Zealand. I feel the Australian bowlers and batsmen will both perform well and I expect a mixed performance from New Zealand’s players.

Match 9 on February 25

Bangladesh V Ireland

Again Bangladesh has an edge over Ireland as it has 11 amongst its family of numbers. It also   adds up to two and Bangladesh adds to five, so the numbers call a Bangladesh victory. I feel a few Irish batsman will make a good knock too.

Match 10 on February 26

Sri Lanka V Pakistan

What a superb game this will be and hard work will be rewarded in the end. It will be an interesting game as the day comes to number eight (two plus six equals eight) and I feel the match will favour Sri Lanka.

Match 11 on February 27

India V England

India has an edge to win this match against England as two plus seven comes to nine, which is in India’s family of numbers and an average number for England as it adds to eight.  So the match will support India yet it will be competitive match and interesting to watch.

Match 12 on February 28

Canada V Zimbabwe

This match will be full of ups and downs and it is not be easy to make out who will win. Yet I feel Canada might get an edge in this match.
