Where is the Secret Garden?

The location of the Secret Garden remains a secret, for now.

Melbourne’s famous event specialist company Tommy Collins will unveil its long-awaited Secret Garden soon, but where will it be?

The Secret Garden, an outdoor event space, was set to launch at Central Pier in Docklands in late September, but Tommy Collins’ creative director Tommy McIntosh said they might not go ahead at this central location.

According to an article published on the Tommy Collins website in early September, the organisers were “ecstatic to be able to present such a central, unique and beautiful setting as the Central Pier”.

When contacted by Docklands News, a Central Pier spokesperson said they needed to “sort out a few details” before disclosing anything about the space.

But Mr McIntosh said they were hoping to move the Secret Garden to the Sea Life Aquarium but were waiting for some “green lights” from the City of Melbourne and the aquarium.

Tommy Collins created the rooftop Pop Up Patch at Federation Square last year, featuring locally sourced vegetable patches and a community garden and function venue.

It looks like Docklands might miss the chance of being the home to a secret event space.
