Social Club is back

Docklands’ very own social club is back this month after a brief hiatus.

Now headed up by a group of local residents, the social club will again provide an opportunity for locals to get to know each other in an informal setting.

Docklands resident Andrew is one of a group of six locals who will be organising the future social club events.

He hopes the renewed social club will become a regular feature on local residents’ social calendars.

“I’m hoping more and more people come along and enjoy the community of Docklands in a relaxed social setting where they can get to know their neighbours and enjoy each others’ company,” Andrew said.

The next Docklands Social Club will be held at the Nixon Hotel at 757 Bourke St on Wednesday, October 14 from 7pm. Come along for a drink or sit down for a meal. Everyone is welcome.
