Rotary is up and running

After months of preparation, Docklands’ new Rotary Club is ready for chartering.
The club will charter at a special event in Docklands on Tuesday, June 23.
So far, the club has 23 members but hopes to have 50 to 60 within a year.
A number of positions in the new club have been filled including:
- President – Mark Nutter
- Club secretary – Peter Ruefli
- President-elect – Ann Ellis
- Assistant treasurer – Jim Hardy
- Service projects – Adrian Stanners
- Membership – Leisa Wheatland (with Ann White assisting)
- Rotary Foundation – Dennis Ginn
- Protection officer – Adam Jones
- Public relations – Shane Scanlan (with Julie Collings assisting)
- Club administration – Antoinette Saunders
- Program – Kylie Rich
The new club meets weekly at Lamore, Victoria Point between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesdays. For further information ring Ann White on 0402 306 790.
