Networking lunch success

Fifty privileged Docklanders experienced Bob’s Steak and Chop House at the December 2011 Docklands News Networking Lunch.

Numbers were restricted for catering purposes and the lunch sold out well in advance.  As usual, participants enjoyed meeting new contacts and catching up with other people they knew.

The feedback from these lunches is very rewarding and it’s great to know that business is done and products and services are bought and sold.

There is no restriction on numbers for the March 2012 lunch which is being held at the Harbour Town Hotel on March 16.

As usual, it is 12 noon for a 12.30 start.  Also as usual, bookings and payment must be made in advance either by ringing Docklands News on 8689 7979 or by emailing [email protected].

The cost is $60 and includes a three-course meals and drinks.

Menu

Entree:  Prawn and avocado timbale served with rocket salad and marie rose dressing; OR  Rare seared duck breast on parmesan risotto and thyme-infused jus.
(Greek salad for vegetarians)

Mains: Oven-baked chicken breast stuffed with zucchini, capsicum and feta on garlic butter chat potatoes with honey sesame-glazed carrots and gravy; OR  Rosemary-crusted lamb rump on sweet potato puree with buttered beans, wilted spinach and minted jus.
(Wild mushroom risotto for vegetarians)

Dessert: Chocolate mud cake with double cream and chocolate dip strawberry; OR Passionfruit cheesecake with mango coulis.
