Kind-hearted local event

Docklands is full of kind-hearted people, so the Docklands Festival of Giving next month should prove to be a popular event.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Docklands, and with all proceeds going to the Royal Children’s Hospital, there’s a full schedule of activities planned for the November 30 festival.

Festival-goers will enjoy a “show ‘n shine” car show, a Zumbathon, multicultural food stalls, Koori dancing, music and entertainment, face painting and roving performers.

Local businesses will also showcase how they fulfil their social responsibility and offer support to the community.

Festival-goers will be invited to vote on which business has contributed the most to the local community, with the winning business to be awarded on the day.

Running from 10am through to 7pm there will be plenty of activities throughout the day to keep everyone entertained.
