Good company and good food

Docklands residents caught up with each other for good company and a good feed at Mama Rumaan on Central Pier on September 13.

Numbers were down on the usual figure (perhaps the wet weather was to blame), but the food and the conversation was first class.

The Docklands Social Club is an informal monthly gathering on either Tuesday or Wednesday nights.  A new venue is found each month to rotate the event through Docklands’ various precincts.

The club is run by a small group of Docklands’ locals who are keen to welcome new residents as well as people who have lived here for some time and are keen to meet others. No membership or bookings are required.

Gatherings start at 7pm and participants are free to order and pay individually for any drinks or dinner.

The next Docklands Social Club is being held at Harbour Town Hotel, on Wednesday, October 12.  Save the date.
