Giant-sized hazards

Giant-sized hazards Image

A number of shipping containers were floating in the Yarra River late on December 27.

Josh Lev snapped these photos of the Coast Guard attempting to secure the containers before they became a danger to marine traffic.

It is understood they came from a ship in the Port of Melbourne. The port declined to respond to questions from Docklands News about how the containers got into the river.
